ORDERING DOCUMENTS

If you would like to order an original document or transcription, please email orders@familydeeds.co.uk quoting the document reference number, including your name, e-mail and delivery address.

We will then send a Paypal invoice to your email address which will contain a link to the Paypal secure payment site to enable you to make your payment.  We do not receive any of your credit card details, simply an email from Paypal confirming when payment has been made together with your delivery address.  You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this method of payment.

Please do not send any confidential financial information by email and Family Deed will NEVER request any confidential financial information by email.

All proceeds from the sale of original documents and transcriptions are used to fund the purchase of new documents for the project

Alternatively, some of our documents and transcriptions can be ordered at The Parish Chest.  Please note the order number and when you get to the Parish Chest website, the Family Deeds stand is located within “Useful Resources” and then “Historical Documents”.  The documents are then arranged by county.

If you would prefer to pay by sterling cheque rather than over the internet then please contact us.

If you are ordering an original document you may prefer to email us first to confirm availability as obviously, with originals, we only have one to sell!

Occasionally some of the documents are not yet on the Parish Chest website, in these cases please email us for details.

PLEASE NOTE – ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS

If you would like to order an original document to be sent outside the UK there will be a delay in dispatching the document to you.  This is because all of our original documents are classed as Cultural Goods and we therefore need to arrange an Export Licence.  There is no additional cost to you, but the dispatch will be delayed for approximately 3-4 weeks whilst the Export Licence is issued.

UK Orders for original documents are not affected by this.
