LINTON, YORKSHIRE


RELEASE DATED 14 JUNE 1866

 

A vellum Indenture being a Release of a messuage or tenement with the stable, cowhouse, homestead and two garths containing three acres together with another three closes or parcels of land containing eight acres situate at Linton in the County of York dated 14 June 1866, Mrs Sarah Barr to Mr Charles Hogg. The document also recites information from earlier Indentures.

Widow. Mother of Sarah Dunwell (later Sarah Barr, party hereto), Frances Dunwell (later Frances Pearson) and Ann Dunwell (later Ann Nelson). Party to Indenture of Release dated 23 April 1800. Married Peter Dalby “sometime after” the date of the 1800 Indenture. Party to Indenture of Release dated 20 May 1820 as Ann Dalby the wife of Peter Dalby. Died in the month of June 1853 and was buried at the Parish Church of Spofforth, Yorkshire on 13 June 1853

Farmer of Linton, Yorkshire. Married Ann Dunwell (the mother) “sometime after” the date of the 1800 Indenture. Party to Indenture of Release dated 20 May 1820
