LEASE DATED 1 JANUARY 1823

 

A vellum Indenture being a Lease for a year dated 1 January 1823, Messrs Ashworth and Wadsworth to Joseph Sunderland Esquire

The property is basically described as All that mill or building situate and being at Mill Bridge in Liversedge in the parish of Birstal, Yorkshire used as a Corn Mill with the water wheel, steam engine, drying kiln and other appurtenances Also all those several messuages or dwellinghouse with the garden and fold, barn, stable, mistal and other outbuildings Also all those three several cottages near the bridge Also all those four closes pieces or parcels of land or ground situate in the township of Liversedge called the Damhead Close, the Howe Pasture, the New Close and the Ashton Clough Ing Also all that messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement with the garden situate at Mill Bridge aforesaid with the stable and outbuildings thereto Also all that messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement with the shop, barn, stable, fold, yard, garden and outbuildings belonging And all those three several closes, pieces or parcels of land or ground lying near to the said messuage called the Croft, the Broom Banks and the Great or Cross Banks near to Healey Laneside in the parish of Batley, Yorkshire
