MILLBRIDGE, LIVERSEDGE, YORKSHIRE


LEASE DATED 1 JULY 1833

 

A vellum Indenture being a Lease for a year of property at Millbridge in Liversedge in the parish of Birstal, Yorkshire and at Healey Lane Side in the parish of Batley, Yorkshire dated 1 July 1833, Thomas Greenwood to John Sykes.

The property is basically described as being All that one undivided fourth share in a Mill or Buildings situate in Mill Bridge in Liversedge used as a Corn Mill with the water wheel, steam engine, engine house, drying kiln, machines, hoppers, mill stones and all other implements, fixtures, geering and things belonging Also several messuages or dwellinghouses with the gardens, folds, barn, stable, mistal and other outbuildings near the Mill Also three cottages near the bridge in Mill Bridge and four closes of land at Liversedge containing twelve acres Also a messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement with the garden, stable and outbuildings in Millbridge Also a messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement with the shop, stable, fold, yard, garden and outbuildings belonging Also three closes of land near the last mentioned messuage situate at or near Healey Lane Side in the parish of Batley.
