LEASE DATED 30 MARCH 1837

 

A vellum Indenture being a Lease for a year of one full undivided moiety or equal half part in a building used as a Wire Mill with the engine house, boiler house, healding place, outbuildings, steam engine, machinery and going gear built upon Mill Croft together with two dams or reservoirs called The Mill Dam and the New Dam and the goit, watercourse or drains situate at Popplewell in Scholes in the township of Cleckheaton, Yorkshire dated 30 March 1837, Mr Richard Overend to Mr George Higham.
