A vellum
Indenture being a Lease for a year of a Mill, messuages, cottages,
lands, hereditaments and premises situate at Mill Bridge, Liversedge and Batley
in the County of Yorkshire dated 22 June 1827, Mr Benjamin Wood and Mr Thomas Greenwood
to Miss Elizabeth Kershaw. The Mill
itself is described as being used “….as a Corn Mill with the water wheel, steam
engine, engine house, drying kiln, machines hoppers mill stones and all other
implements fixtures geering and things belonging to the said mill engine and
drying kiln…”
