HARE PARK, HIGHTOWN, LIVERSEDGE, YORKSHIRECONVEYANCE DATED 24 APRIL 1838  A Vellum Indenture being a Conveyance of a cottage and piece of land situate at Hare Park in Hightown in Liversedge in the County of Yorkshire dated 24 April 1838, Mr Charles Lawford and Elizabeth his wife to Mr James Halmshaw and Ann his wife. The document recites that Charles Lawford (the grandfather) deceased left the property to his son Thomas in his will and that Thomas had intimated that he wanted to divide his property between his son, Charles, and daughter, Ann, but never made a Will or committed it to writing and died intestate so Charles inherited everything as his heir. By this document Charles is Conveying the cottage and plot of land to Ann out of "natural love and affection".
