BARKSTON ASH, YORKSHIRE


LEASE DATED 14 MAY 1830

 

A vellum Indenture being a Lease for a year of a Messuage or Dwellinghouse lands and premises which are well detailed situate at Barkston otherwise Barkston Ash in the County of Yorkshire dated 14 May 1830, Mr John Wormald and others to William Prest Esquire

The document also gives some information relating to whom some of the land was awarded to under the Act for dividing and inclosing the open and Common fields which was passed in the tenth year of the reign of King George III
