SOMERSET PUBS & BREWERIES


MORTGAGE DATED 15 JUNE 1894

 

A vellum Indenture being a Mortgage of hereditaments respectively situate at Clandown, Radstock, Keynsham, Camerton and Hemington, Somerset to secure £10,000 and interest dated 15 June 1894, Coombs Clandown and Radstock Breweries and Hotels Company Limited to Mr George Coombs. The document also has a later Reconveyance of the property on the back.

The property comprised in the Indenture includes:

A brewery, malthouse, cellars, yards, stable, buildings and garden called Clandown Brewery together with a messuage, tenement, dwellinghouse and Inn called The Lamb Inn with the cottages, yards, buildings, cellars, stables, coachhouses, offices and land all situate at Clandown in the parish of Midsomer Norton, Somerset

Land at Smallcombe in the hamlet of Clandown in the parish of Midsomer Norton, Somerset

A messuage or dwellinghouse called The Railway Hotel and three cottages and gardens at or near Wells Way in the parish of Radstock, Somerset

A messuage, dwellinghouse or public house called The Talbot Inn with two cottages in the parish of Keynsham, Somerset

A plot of ground at Tunley in the parish of Camerton, Somerset with the messuage or dwellinghouse used as a beerhouse called The Star

Two cottages or dwellinghouses with the stable and ground situate at Tunley in the parish of Camerton, Somerset

A dwellinghouse and house licensed as a beerhouse in Ammerdown Terrace situate near Terry Hill in the parish of Hemington, Somerset
