Mr John Poulter late of Ashford Bowdler, Shropshire

Dated 3 August 1803
I John Poulter of Ashford in the county of Salop gentleman do make this my
last Will and Testament as follows I give all my real estate unto my two
sisters Catherina Poulter and Mary Jones during their natural lives and after
their deceases I give and devise the same unto my niece Ann the wife of
William Stephens and her heirs for ever And I give all my personal estate and
effects whatsoever unto my said two sisters and my said niece Ann Stephens
share and share alike and as to the share of my said niece Ann Stephens my
express Will and desire is that the same might be had and received of and
from my executrixes hereinafter named by Mr John Morris of the town of
Leominster to be by him placed out at interest in his name In Trust for my
said niece Ann Stephens and to pay the interest and produce thereof unto her
for and during her natural life for her sole and separate use and wherewith
her present or any future husband shall not intermeddle and that the receipt
and receipts of my said niece from time to time shall be good and effectual
discharges for such interest or produce and that the same shall not be liable
to the debts forfeitures or engagements of her present or any future husband
and from and after the decease of my said niece then it is my Will that my
said trustee John Morris do and shall call in and receive the said Trust
Monies and pay and apply the same to and amongst all the children of my said
niece share and share alike and I appoint my said two sisters Catherina
Poulter and Mary Jones joint executrixes of this my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third day
of May 1803

said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us
who have hereunto set our names as witnesses in the presence of the said
Testator and of each other

By the Tenor of these presents We John Napleton
Doctor in Divinity Vicar General and Official Principal of the Right Reverend
Father in God Folliott by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of Hereford lawfully
constituted make known to all Men That on the third day of August in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three before the Rev Francis Woodcock
M. A. lawful surrogate The last Will and Testament of John Poulter late of
the parish of Ashford Bowdler in the diocese of Hereford deceased hereunto
annexed was proved approved and registered and administration of all and
singular the goods chattels and credits of the deceased and any way
concerning his Will was granted to Catherina Poulter spinster one of the
executrixes named in the said Will being first sworn upon the Holy Evangelist
well and faithfully to administer the same and to make a true and perfect
inventory of all and singular the said goods chattels and credits and to
exhibit the same in the Registry of the Diocese of Hereford on or before the
last day of September next ensuing and also to render a just and true account
thereof (a power being first reserved for Mary Jones the other executrix to
prove the same at any time hereafter) Given under our Seal of Office the day
and year aforesaid
