TRAVELLERS REST, STAFFORDSHIRE


AGREEMENT DATED 29 SEPTEMBER 1868

 

A paper document being an Agreement of letting a Public House called Travellers Rest dated 29 September 1868, Ann Manifold to Sampson Nadin reading as follows:

Of Letting a Public House

Called Travellers Rest

 

Memorandum of Agreement made this 29th day of September 1868 between Ann Manifold of New Road House, in the Parish of Alstonefield and County of Stafford on the one part and Sampson Nadin Servt of Warslow on the other part as follows

The said Ann Manifold doth hereby agree to let to the said Sampson Nadin The Travellers Rest Public House with all appurtenances belonging thereto for the term of Five years at and for the sum of Thirteen pounds per year to be paid monthly that is to say one pound per month

The said Sampson Nadin agrees to take the said premises of the said Ann Manifold for the term and at the said Rent as aforesaid
