LEASE DATED 9 DECEMBER 1767

 

A vellum Indenture being a Lease to vest possession of lands situate in Orton in the parish of Wombourne and in Lower Penn in the Parish of Penn in the County of Staffordshire dated 9 December 1767, Charles Corbett Esquire to Thomas Bradney Esquire

The document mentions that reserved out of the sale of the lands to Thomas Bradney is a portion of the land that Charles Corbett had agreed to sell for the use of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal Navigation
