The Manor of Isleworth Syon
In the County of Middlesex
The Special Court Baron Of the Most Noble Hugh Duke and
Earl of Northumberland Earl and Baron Percy Baron Lucy Poynings Fitzpayne
Bryan Latimer and Warkworth and Baronet Lord of the said Manor held there on
Thursday the third day of September in the fifty eighth year of the reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom
of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen Before Joseph Morris
gentleman Deputy of Jonathan Raine Esquire Chief Steward there
To this Court comes Richard Gibson of Whitton in
the parish of Twickenham in the said county of Middlesex shopkeeper in his
own proper person and humbly craves of the Lord of the said Manor to be
admitted Tenant To all that piece or parcel of Copyhold land situate
and being on Hounslow Heath in the said parish of Twickenham awarded to him by
the said Commissioners for and in respect of the Copyhold hereditaments
holden by him of the Lord of the said Manor by Copy of Court Roll marked No
44 on the plan to the said Award annexed and containing by admeasurement
three roods and fourteen perches be the same little more or less as the same
is bounded on the north by land of the Trustee of Edward Bird blank Brazier and William Dew on the
East by the Hounslow Heath Road on the South by land of Abraham French and on
the West by land of His Majesty To whom the Lord of the said Manor by
the said Deputy Steward granteth and delivereth seisin hereof by the rod
To have and to hold the same to him the said Richard Gibson his heirs and
assigns for ever To be Holden of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod
at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the
rents heriots customs and services therefore due and of right accustomed and
he is admitted Tenant thereto accordingly but his fealty is respited because
