A vellum Indenture being a Conveyance dated 12 July 1872 of a fourth part or share in a messuage, tenement or dwellinghouse with the outbuildings, yard and appurtenances and also a Warehouse formerly used as woolrooms with the coach houses, stables, outbuildings, court yard in Belvoir Street and another Warehouse formerly used as woolrooms with the outbuildings fronting to Stamford Street in Leicester subject to a mortgage thereon, Burkill Jacques Esquire to J B Jacques Esquire

Gentleman of Santa Barbara in the State of California in the United States of America. Son of James Jacques. Party to Indenture dated 29 November 1870 when he borrowed £1,000 from Henry Balls secured on his share expectant on the death of Anne Jacques in the property. Selling his share of the property to Joseph Barratt Jacques for £687 10s subject to the Mortgage to Henry Balls.
