Transfer & Confirmation of Mortgage dated 6 April 1854

 

A vellum Indenture being a Transfer and Confirmation of Mortgage of a messuage, maltkiln and hereditaments at Messingham in the County of Lincoln for securing the sum of £400 and interest dated 6 April 1854, Mr George Frankish and Mrs Kirkland and others to Mr William Chatterton.

The document also has a receipt endorsed on the back for the sum of £200 paid by Sarah Kirkland to William Chatterton dated 6 November 1862 signed by William Chatterton and a further receipt dated 23 May 1867 signed by William Chatterton for the sum of £200 paid by Sarah Kirkland to William Chatterton and acknowledging that this is in full satisfaction and discharge of all principal monies and interest
