DONINGTON, LINCOLNSHIRE


RELEASE DATED 5 APRIL 1828

 

A vellum Indenture being a Release of a piece or parcel of land containing two acres, two roods and twenty seven perches lying and being in Donington, Lincolnshire in a places called the Wikes, formerly described as lying near Goat Field House dated 5 April 1828, Mr Benjamin Clark by the direction of Mr Robert Baldwick to Mr Matthew Dennis. In the document it mentions that Robert Baldwick had contracted with Benjamin Clark to purchase the piece of land for £170 but before the actual Conveyance of the land had been carried out, Robert Baldwick had agreed to sell the land on to Matthew Dennis for £200 and that is why Robert Baldwick is directing Benjamin Clark to convey the land directly to Matthew Dennis.
