A vellum document being the Probate of the Will of Mrs Elizabeth Perry of King Street, Cloth Fair, London dated 4 November 1846 reading as follows:

I Elizabeth Perry

of King Street Cloth Fair in sound mind but weak in body leave this as my last Will and Testament To Ann Alzer wife of William Alzer I bequeath ten pounds To Elizabeth Corbould spinster five pounds To Mary Portlock wife of John Portlock five pounds To Ann Perkins wife of J. Perkins five pounds Ten pounds to be expended on my funeral and the rest and residue of all I possess after paying any other debts and expenses in proving this Will I bequeath to Elizabeth Bolton wife of John Bolton King Street Cloth Fair my sole Executrix signed by me this fourth day of November 1846

Appeared personally Mary Ann Collins of No 9 Crosby Row in the Borough of Southwark and County of Surrey spinster and made oath that she is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Perry late of King Street Cloth Fair in the City of London widow deceased now hereunto annexed bearing date the fourth day of November one thousand eight hundred and forty six And she further made oath that on the said fourth day of November one thousand eight hundred and forty six the said Testatrix duly executed the said Will by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of this Deponent and of John Hollier the other subscribed witness thereto all being present together at such time And that this Deponent and the said John Hollier thereupon set and subscribed their names to the said Will in the presence of the said Testatrix

William by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of all England and Metropolitan Do by these presents make known to all men that on the tenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six at London before the Worshipful Sherrard Beaumont Burnaby Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir Herbert Jenner Fust Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of Our Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted the Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Perry late of King Street Cloth Fair in the City of London, Widow, deceased hereunto annex was proved approved and registered the said deceased having whilst living and at the time of her Death Goods Chattels or Credits in divers Dioceses or Jurisdictions by reason whereof the proving and registering the said Will and the granting Administration of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the Account thereof are well known to appertain only and wholly to us and not to any inferior Judge and that Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased and any way concerning his Will was granted to Elizabeth Bolton (Wife of John Bolton) the sole Executrix named in the said Will she having been already sworn well and faithfully to administer the same and to make a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and to exhibit the same into the Registry of our said Court on or before the last Day of June next ensuing and also to render a just and true Account thereof. Given at the time and place above written and in the nineteenth year of our Translation
