of Agreement dated 20 November
1690
Articles of Agreement (on paper) with
a wax seal dated 1690 between John Sargent and John Warr in exchange concerning
land relating to Revells Farm, Linton reading as follows:

Articles of agreement concluded and agreed upon ye Twentyth
day of November in ye second year of ye Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord and
Lady King William and Queen Mary and in the year of Crist : 1690 : Betweene
John Sargent of Revells in ye parish of Linton in ye County of Hereford,
yeoman on ye on parte and John Warr of ye sd parish of Linton and County of
Hereford, yeoman on the other parte
Conserning the changing of a way of husbantry at a place caled Studley
in the parish of Linton as followeth
Whereas the said John Sargent hath on parcell of land at a
place caled Studley in ye parish of Linton containing by estmation three
ackers heading upon a way there leading from Lintons Church to wards
Hartleton at ye upper end thereof And whereby the said John Warr hath a way
throw the upper end of ye aforesaid land of John Sargent unto two parcells of
land of the said John Warr
These presents wittneseth that ye sd John Warr Doth Consent
and agree to and with the sd John Sargent to goe downe farther along the
highway there until he comes to the land belonging to Revells and there goe
in at ye gate there into Revells ground and soe out of Revells ground into
his two parcels of ground aforesaid and it is agreed and concluded by ye said
John Sargent that he ye said John Warr shall have his way out of Revells
ground in what place of ye hedg John Warr doth please. And this exchange of ye aforesaid way to
hold and continue until such time as the sd John Warr shall be molested or
forbidden of ye sd way throw Revells ground and no longer and when ye sd John
Warr or his heyeres (heirs) are at any time molested or forbidden of
ye sd way throw Revells ground then to have his old way againe throw ye land
of ye said John Sargent. In Wittnes
where unto the said parties to these presents have interchangeably put theire
hands and seales the Day and Yeare first above written
