HEREFORD, ST MARTIN, HEREFORDSHIRE


ATTORNMENT DATED 15 DECEMBER 1785

 

A single sheet of paper being an Attornment for Rent of £1:5s dated 15 December 1785, Ann Holland to Sir James Hereford reading as follows:-

 

I Ann Holland of the Parish of Saint Martin within the Liberties of the City of Hereford, widow Do at the request of John Inyor of the said City of Hereford, glover (testified by his signing hereof) Attorn and become Tenant to Sir James Hereford of Sufton in the County of Hereford, Knight, for the house and garden with the appurtenances thereto belonging situate in the parish of Saint Martin aforesaid whereby I now live To Hold from the 17th day of February next for one year at the yearly rent of One Pound Fifteen Shillings And in testimony hereof I have this day paid to the said Sir James Hereford One penny in part of Rent As Witness my hand this fifteenth day of December 1785.
