LETTERS

Benjamin Fallows Esq

Honored Sir,
I received your
kind letter and am sorry to say (she) my daughter is not capable of earning a
livelihood at her business without a little more instruction which gives me a
great deal of uneasiness and therefore I think (as well as all her Friends)
who have been consulted concerning it, that it would be much better for her
to go to London for improvement as if she continues in the country she will be
compelled to give another premium. If
she continues out of employ her board will amount to upwards that sum at the
expiration of the 2 years.
I have sent a Receipt for the money and should be much obliged
if you would remit the money by the bearer.
Please to give my best respects to Mrs Fallowes
From your Humble Servt

My Dear Sir
I am sorry to intrude upon your time, but am fearful you have
forgot the letter Miss Hull sent by Mrs W Wood. I
should esteem it a particular favor if you would be kind enough to favour me
with a few lines by return of the Bearer as I am apprehensive the Lady will
be tired of waiting and engage with another, if you agree to her terms have
the goodness to say how the money is to be remitted
I
remain Dear Sir
Your
Obliged Humble Servant
M Holland Coates
Leominster
March 13 1812
P.S. I shall be in want of money for my journey and other
necessarys which I hope you will be kind enough to let me have
