A vellum Indenture being a Deed of Confirmation with respect to the Cheney Court Estate situate in the parish of Bishops Frome in the County of Herefordshire dated 30 March 1868, Mr John Jones to James Moilliet Esquire.
The document contains detailed information about several earlier Indentures affecting the property including, amongst others, an Indenture of Settlement dated 5 November 1835 where trusts were made for a number of sums of money to be paid out after the decease of the survivor of Richard William Gardiner and Charlotte Gardiner which are detailed below and an Indenture of Release or Confirmation dated 20 November 1867 in which it was said that John Jones had always been advised and insisted that the Indenture of 5 November 1835 was fraudulent and void but that the other parties to the 1867 Indenture contended that the contrary was the case.
