CONVEYANCE DATED 24 MARCH 1852

 

A vellum Indenture being a Conveyance of two closes of land at Iron Acton in the County of Gloucester called “Churchfields” dated 24 March 1852, Mr John Alway to Mr Edward F Gibbs

Endorsed on the back of the documents is a statement signed by Thomas Crossman and Richard Scarlett dated 24 March 1852 confirming that they “examined Mary Alway separately and apart from her husband touching her knowledge of the contents of the said deed and her consent thereto and declared the same to be freely and voluntarily executed by her”
