  A vellum Indenture being a Mortgage of a Leasehold Burgage and Tenement situate and being in Castlegate within the City of Carlisle in the County of Cumberland dated 7 July 1769, Susannah Philip to Isaac Thompson. The document recites that the Burgage and Tenement had shortly before been leased to Susannah Philip by the Right Worshipful Thomas Wilson, Doctor in Divinity, Dean and the Chapter of the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Carlisle.
